“The only cure for grief is to grieve”

Grief can show up in many ways—sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, or just feeling “different” from how you were before. However it shows up for you, it’s welcome here. I offer one-to-one bereavement and grief counselling for adults, with sessions available in person in Central London and online.

I support people experiencing many different forms of loss, including:

Loss through death

• of a partner or spouse

• of a child (including miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss)

• of a parent, sibling, or friend

• Sudden or traumatic death (e.g., accident, suicide)

• Death after long illness or palliative care

Anticipatory grief

Facing the terminal illness of a loved one

• Decline due to dementia or long-term illness

Non-death losses (sometimes called living losses)

• Relationship breakdown, separation, or divorce

• Loss of health or mobility (through illness, accident, disability, or ageing)

• a job, career, or financial stability

• a home or familiar environment (including migration or moving into care)

• identity, role, or sense of self (e.g., retirement, empty nest)

• independence (e.g., needing carers, losing a driving license)

Other significant losses

• Loss connected to infertility or not becoming a parent

• of hopes, dreams, or future plans

• of community, culture, or faith

• Pet loss (deeply significant but sometimes overlooked)

Whatever your loss looks like, it matters. This is a space for you to bring your own unique experience of loss and be met with understanding and care.
